Maintaining a healthy aquarium environment hinges on effectively diluting accumulated waste through regular water changes, which necessitates the removal of chlorine, chloramine, or both from new water sources. Traditional treatments like thiosulfate fall short against chloramine, often releasing harmful ammonia, especially at alkaline pH levels where it can be particularly damaging to aquatic life.

This advanced, concentrated saltwater conditioner offers a superior solution, being 50% more active than standard treatments and significantly outperforming competitors. It efficiently removes chlorine, chloramine, and ammonia by converting ammonia into a safe, non-toxic form readily utilized by beneficial bacteria and reef inhabitants such as clams. Ideal for use during tank cycling, it alleviates ammonia and nitrite toxicity, while also detoxifying nitrite and nitrate to enhance biofilter efficiency.

Beyond water purification, this conditioner promotes the production and regeneration of the natural slime coat on fish, supporting their health and resilience. Its non-acidic formulation ensures it does not impact pH levels or over-activate protein skimmers, making it safe and effective for routine use at aquarium start-up and whenever adding or replacing water.

Directions

Use 5 mL for every 300 L (75 US gallons) of water to remove approximately 1 mg/L ammonia, 4 mg/L chloramine, or 5 mg/L chlorine. It can be added directly to the aquarium or preferably to new water before introduction. For direct aquarium dosing, base the amount on total volume. A normal sulfur odor is expected. For exceptionally high chloramine levels, a double dose is safe. In emergencies, up to five times the normal dose can detoxify nitrite. When water temperature exceeds 30°C (86°F) and chlorine or ammonia is low, use half the recommended dose.
