Fåra Rug

Typical for one of Ilse Crawford's designs, this rug reflects human behavior. Fåra is a patterned rug that uses a bouclé yarn in pure wool with delicate irregularities, hand-woven in a striped pattern that exposes the underlying wool layers. The effect, reminiscent of a newly plowed field, is further enhanced by the contrasting colors.

Depending on the natural materials used and the varied hand-crafted processes in production, dimensions of the rug may vary by up to 2%. Please contact Rarify for custom size ordering.

Rug Backing is included.
Backing is a treatment in which the underside of woven rugs is coated with acrylate adhesive. This stabilises the rug and extends its life. It is recommended for woven rugs wider than 200 cm or larger than 6 square metres in area.
