Mini Bottle Table

The Mini Bottle table is a classic yet striking service table made of handcrafted ceramic, available in either white or black. Mini Bottle is created in one of the most famous Italian laboratories, a place where earth is transformed into works of art: since this object is crafted artisanally, any irregularities or color variations are to be considered a prized addition.

The Mini Bottle was designed by Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby. Both were trained in interior design and product design respectively in the UK, before meeting at the Royal College of Art for their Master's in the mid 1990s. After founding their studio in 1996, they worked on a combination of architectural and product-design projects, often focusing on plywood and solid wood projects. Their firm and reputation has grown rapidly since the early 2000's, with design houses such as Vitra, Flos, B&B Italia, and Knoll producing their designs. Together, Barber and Osgerby created two tables that are included in the Cappellini collection: the Loop writing desk and the Mini Bottle table; both are an expression of their unique positioning between design, art and architecture.
