The Wiltshire Instant-Read Thermometer gives readings quickly and ensures a succulent roast or juicy chicken. Be aware the thermometer is not oven-safe and must not be left in the meat while it is cooking. Use the thermometer towards the end of the minimum cooking time and allow it to remain in the meat for only 15 seconds, at a depth of 5cm for an accurate reading. Use the following temperatures to determine when meat is cooked to your liking: Chicken - 75°C, Pork - 77°C, Beef and Lamb - Rare 60°C, Medium 68°C and Well Done 77°C.
