In 2001, Drew graduated from college, enjoyed a nice, long three-day weekend, and then got to work in residential real estate. He hasn't stopped since.
Now, 19 years later, he’s become one of Oregon’s most decorated real estate brokers, having steadily grown his team year-over-year, even through the crash of 2008 and the uncertainty of the COVID era. For the last two years, Drew has been the second-highest producing broker at Hasson Company, Realtors®, which ranks 1st in the Pacific Northwest for average sales volume per broker. In 2020, The Drew Coleman Team is on pace to close 200 transactions.
High sales volume isn't his only focus. Drew is also actively involved as a leader in his local industry. Having served as the 2019 President of the Portland Metropolitan Association of REALTORS®, he is now the incoming 2021 President of the Oregon REALTORS®, where he works to provide enriching experiences for his fellow agents. He is now involved in industry leadership at the national level, recently graduating as a member of the 2020 National Association of REALTORS® Leadership Academy.
He's also actively engaged with his community, working with nonprofits that support foster care and those who are homeless in Portland by leveraging the unique media abilities of his team to help tell their stories in compelling ways.
A well-traveled soul, Drew even spent some time living in Vienna as a child. But Drew is quick to tell you that out of all the places he’s been, there’s no place in the world like Portland. It’s why he chose to make it his lifelong home and place of business, long before the market became what it is today. He calls it the perfect backdrop for his lovely wife and three energetic children.
Drew’s team now encompasses close to 20 members, serving both buyers and sellers across the metropolitan area, from Gresham to Hillsboro. When asked what has influenced the success of his business, Drew points towards genuine empathy and a spirit of collaboration with his clients, an exhaustive work ethic, and an embracing of the digital market space.
